The Sabres played a much better game but the Pens prevail. Crosby got his 1300th point, at the 8th fastest pace in NHL history.

 

I know it's "only Buffalo" but still a big win for the Pens. Great game for Casey.

Pens defeat the Isles for the 6th time in 8 games. The goals tonight came from the muckers and grinders, the 4th line winger - Anthony Angello and Jared McCann, although McCann is more than a mucker and grinder. But it was the 4th and 2nd line getting the goals tonight.

I saw on my sports app that the Sabres have tied the all time NHL record for consecutive losses, with 18. Their next opponent should look out. They have to win one sometime.

Brutal. I think that team is just deflated beyond belief, at this point. None of those guys even care or try. Hall is going to be out at the deadline and who knows, maybe Eichel would want out but his stock is at an all-time low, right now.

Lots of talk Hall isn't going to get much value. Supposedly the highest offer so far is a 2nd and a middling prospect. That's crazy low considering lots of guys with off seasons and a similar history would fetch at least a 1st and something real back. I wonder if the rumors that Hall was a cancer in New Jersey and Phoenix are lowering his value beyond his crappy season?
