Pretty sure there’s just one field that gets changed for redline

 

I do not know anything about other folks edited tunes.


What I know from playing around is that there are two rev limit maps that I believe need to match? Any OVT 2.0 MT tune has the rev limit set to 7,250rpm. Take a peek at one of those for a solid example.

 

On his guide it was 2, and I did that along with the others he recommended but this was the only one that didn’t seem to work.

 

Will I need more credits to look into that or is that something I can see on the forums?

I’m tellin ya I did that and I couldn’t get it to go past 6000rpm

 

For the AT, there might be other per-gear maps that cockblock the rev limiter? Unedited OVT should be 6,300rpm? I know a guy on Saturday got a wake up call with that.

 

I’m not even seeing that, it really looks more like 5800 or 5900 on the tach.

Close enough for me. It's all horseshoes when it comes to tooning.

See when I pulled that up for me both of them were 6300

 

After I changed those I saved the file and then flashed it to the truck.

 

Weird. That is 04B33_Reg_33.vft. Other files could have other values. Still, 6,300rpm is goood.

Did you save the file then open it again to make sure they stuck? I’ve edited plenty of files only to discover once I opened them again... it didn’t actually save what I did

Yes I made sure 2 or 3 times each before I flashed it.
