Anything that helps reduce Tacoma related knee pain is a very POWERFUL THING!

@EasyDoesIt - Check your "contact us" email box. You may be getting inquires from 100 series owners. One owner figured out how to use the ones for an FJ Cruiser on a 100 series Land Cruiser / LX470.

I've been doing a lot of yoga and back strengthening exercises for my sciatica...

The trick is finding some yoga that skips over all the woo woo healing chrystal BS.

I'm tall and I think raising the front of the seat would be even worse for my hips and knees :(

Planning on dropping to a 13" grant steering wheel so I can get some more space and hopefully have better angles

i tried those and they didn't at all work for me. the knees were too high and knocking the dash.

i went to an upholstery shop local to me with experience doing it, and i had them contour the seat bottom. $200 and it's now the most comfortable seat i own. before i couldn't drive more than 90 minutes before thigh pain and sciatica came.

How tall are you? I've had to build a cushion to raise the front part of the seat to elevate my knees. I sit in the farthest back position. 6'2.5" 36 inseam.

I'm 6'2" with a 34" inseam. i didn't like raising anything, having tried two different raising solutions. what worked for me was dropping the rear bottom of the seat. that accomplished the same thing without pushing me into an unnatural position. but your legs are longer.

Interesting; I had a similar set and gave them away over a year ago actually.

I did have sciatica, and can tell you, it is the worst.

I'm short though...wondering if not for the legroom, but the slight angle would help if at all for long drives.

Thanks for the feedback man. Our Front Seat Jackers are CNC'd in the US from US sourced billet 7075 aluminum, powder coated, include factory grade hardware and we ship for the price listed. Not to mention there are two separate pieces that need to be CNC'd and require multiple operations. We also include a 30 day money back guarantee so if they don't get you comfortable, you can return.

Consider the above and how you might spend $100 in a given month. Then think about how it could be a permanent solution to an otherwise uncomfortable seat (for many, not all).

If you don't need them, yes they are spendy but if you do need them, I promise they are worth the coin.

I managed to correct it by using a wedge shaped cushion similar to the one in the picture to give my legs a bit of a lift for a trip. If I can lift the seat front, I won't need to sit on a weird looking v-shaped piece of foam.

Being a bit pricey I messaged DDI for a coupon, and they pointed me to Chloe Kuo's youtube. She has a 10% off coupon "ChloeKuoTaco" Hope this helps someone.

Eh, this is what I was afraid of. I can't take these fucking seats anymore, but I'm a touch over 6'3", pretty much already hitting my head on the headliner. I want my seat lower if anything. I get the angle can help my back, but I feel I'm gonna get some neck pain when I have to tilt my head while driving.

Since 3rd gen TRD Pro seats are about as common to find for sale as winning the powerball, I'm just gonna go balls out and toss all this seat garbage and take my own route. Plate adapters exist, now it's just finding the perfect donor. I haven't measured up yet, but I *think* that a b7 passat SEL with the ergo option would be ideal. Granted, I am partial to VW seats. I know there's a set at one yard, but they will be a bitch to shove in and make work even if the width fits.

I don't mean to stir the pot, but how old are you guys? Is this an old people problem? I mean, I'm 6' and I have no issues with the seating position in my 1st Gen (which is waaaaay better than a 3rd Gen's position in my opinion). Again, I'm not talking crap; I'm just looking to get smart on this topic. Old people problem? Tall(er) people problem?:crapstorm:

    Im 6,3 @205-210
And I fit just fine. I think only a kid or a small person can possibly sit behind me.
Yet I don’t fully ever need to engage the seat all the way back from the bottom. I maybe recline my seat at a good angle yet not to far back but enough to be comfortable and control the wheel while watching the road. I have picky setting. This is my first truck ever. Coming for all cars.

Tall people 6'3" and over or with a 36" inseam. Especially tall people who damaged their knees in sports.

In the past couple of days, I've noticed Land Cruiser / LX470 people with electric seats have discovered and installed the 2nd/3rd Gen Tacoma lifts.

There are complaints about Toyota's flagship model from tall people whose knees accidentally hitting the Diff Lock button while driving.
