I bought the same one awhile back, the sheath is almost dangerous. But, the blade is great with S90V.

Then I recently got the S30V version, which I like better with wood handle and leather sheath, although there's been negative reviews about the 30V losing it's edge rather quickly.

agreed, its very picky in how it goes in and if you do it wrong it takes some force to get it back out

I have been debating getting this for it to replace the one it came with, although the leather one on the other model has had good reviews as well

I think it's silly that states even ban them to carry. As if it's more dangerous because it opens with a button vs a flip. I've been trying to wrap my head around the logic and still am clueless.

There's a slight difference. In California, you can have assisted opening which means you still need to open the knife but it can be spring assisted.

What's a "cali legal auto"? Didn't think we were allowed any type of auto here.

Thought I'd purchase some cheap g10 scales and try to skinny it myself. Used a dremel, still need to round the edges a bit.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I have the little brother (Hidden Canyon in S30v) and an Armatus Architect sheath.

It is a great sheath, very compact and good retention and the PDT strap is awesome. Mine does rattle around a bit (not as tight a fit as other kydex I've had) but no risk of it coming out on it's own. Could accommodate a Tek-Lok clip if you don't like the PDT.

It was hard to justify this mod on an already expensive knife, though once done, it really makes it a better daily. Rockscale Designs Ti backspacer
