mine took me the same amount of time last year (also used the inchworm adapter)
The front end components took me 4 hours to do completely which was nice
The hardest part was just making sure the crossmember I made was welded by my buddy properly at the right angle/straight

Good to hear! It’ll probably be worse while wheeling from everything flexing but at least it’s an easy fix if needed.

I saw, I was tagged in there but I have no desire. It sounds like you’ll benefit from it though while in low low

i have a feeling that I’ll need to use loctite on the rest of the fasteners on the truck after making the swap, but if it keeps me from tearing a motor mount I’ll be happy.

It’s cool, I rethreaded the piece that goes inside and used another 1/2 bolt to get it out. The part that goes inside bent on me and that’s where I messed up

Remove that seal and hit the bearing with WD40 and some heat(propane torch). You might need to rent a slide hammer and use the pilot bearing attachment and pop that thing out.

As another note earlier on I talked to a local guy(drive lines specialists) and explain the mod(remove the spline, bshorten and add a flange) I need on the shaft he said that he can take care of it and explain the measurements he needed from me in order to tackle it. I’ll get back to you guys once that part of the process is completed(transmission, modded support and transfer case must go in first) cheers fellas.

If you're going 1 piece driveshaft the only thing he should need is the distance between both flanges at ride height. If you are providing original driveshaft he shouldn't need flange dimensions.

Correct, he told me how he needs to be measured, I explained it was a spicer and all that good stuff. I said I currently have a prerunner shaft and need to convert to the 4x4 style. He mentioned if I wanted to do a 1 piece and I replied no thank you.

I took my 4x4 2pc shaft to the drivetrain shop to have it shortened since the transmission adapter I used pushed everything back about 2". He told me doing a 1pc shaft was gonna cost me the same so I went with the 1pc. The vibrations that I had before disappeared.
