Yeah Black Mountain is really nice. Worked at the butcher shop/restaurant there as a second job for a short time.

I’m sure by now you’ve both checked out Town Hardware. Packed with all sorts of neat stuff. Also, eat at My Fathers!

Yep, Town Hardware has lots of stuff. Louise's Kitchen is THE place for breakfast! Great sandwiches too! The Black Mountain Bistro is great for dinner.

If you drive down 26 near Asheville either around 830am or 5pm we probably have passed each other or come close to it

Brevard is awesome but Asheville is quickly bleeding into it, it’s becoming just as expensive. The forest service has eliminated most of the free roadside camping. The one saving grace is all the dirty “travelers” that are in downtown Asheville aren’t there to harass you

This is downtown Asheville now. I see this shit every day near work. And I work in the federal building.

I staged there when I left Sierra Nevada. Chef is supposed to be some ex chef for the stars. All I will say is that when you heat up wing sauce and toss wings in it, you don’t slide the pan on the floor under the stove, and then reuse the left over sauce for the next order. I walked out after that.

That's a shame. I've heard that Asheville has become the San Francisco of the east coast. Hopefully, people start to step up before human feces on the sidewalk is the norm.

We flipped a little house in Asheville last year so we were up there almost every weekend. I wouldn’t let my dogs off the sidewalk for fear they’d step on a needle. There is a clinic across from Sunnypoint that really draws them in.

lol I come through Asheville at 6am and again around 5:30pm. But I’m in my work car (Black Mazda 3) like 95% of the time. The Tacoma is at home except the weekend

Howdy from your neighbor in Greenwood! Head on over to the SC BS thread when you get a chance and say hi there, too!

I’m in Greenville as well. Look for my CAT tag on the front of mine and Glock sticker on the back window!
