    Foam cannon has been on my list for a little while. Curious to know what you think about it once you have had a chance to use it.

    Do they take away a lot of the hand washing part? I’ve always been leery of them, I think mentally, I’m making them harder to use/maintain than they might actually be.

    Someone correct me if Im wrong, but I think the benefit is the massive amount of suds, vs regular washing with a mitt. Helps get dirt and grime off and minimizes chances if scratches. I think.

    Doesn't eliminate the mitt but gives tons of suds to help.

    That's how I have done it in the past, but I only wash the car and wax twice a year if I'm good. I've had my truck a year and a half now and haven't touched it with soap. Now that it's warming up I'd like to clean it up, maybe think about doing some paint correction on a few small scratches that were there when I bought it, and then keep it in primo condition...which might get me to buy one of these foam guns so that I am more inclined to do it...if it really cuts that time and effort down by a bit.

    And you're not super anal, you're just detail oriented. That's what I tell people...

    So...foam cannon.
    It's the cannon that came with the Stanley pressure washer. Really not much different than the Gilmour foam gun I've been using. If you buy a pressure washer and it came with it, fine. If just want to use a hose the Gilmour is definitely adequate. I might try a different orifice with the cannon. Also, tried both a foaming Rainx wash and my usual Meguiar's Gold Class and results were similar.

    And now it's Collinite 845 time, and cheap ceramic spray on all the black plastic including the bed. And put a martini glass in the fridge for later...

    I've actually been meaning to hire a detailer for both my Taco and my Miata. I absolutely hate washing vehicles

    I don't mind that lol, but I have detailing. carpet shampooing, buffing, getting rid of pin stripes, etc. but I'd be down for a wash day

    There is a husband/wife combo near me that's super good at car detailing and relatively cheap compared to store. Just drop it off at their house in the morning and get it later that night. I didn't get them before winter, they were busy and only room for my wife. I should call and get us both on there again.

    @CTSpruceMica , truck looks good!

    Perks of working from home. Pulled my rear diff plugs at lunch and let it drain. Added some fresh gear oil after work.

    Front diff and xfer case will be next.
