Your middle of the night is my morning. Too many years in the Army not to be up checking the perimeter before sunrise. Let the coffee begin. :pccoffee:

I wonder if that's why the Death Star blew up. Someone was using Metric and not Imperial for measurements and a piece was not long enough and it left an opening.

As much so, surprised (not really) the US rejected Deming's TQM methodology and Japan soaked it up like a sponge. However, we're here today with the Toyota product, thanks to Deming and his associate. In the day, the US wanted nothing to do with TQM. Thus the US made vehicles.

I notice you don't tread far from your "This is your opinion. It is wrong." !! :)

What I mean 't was the paint quality tarnished or ruined from the vinyl glue. I wanted to know if there was additional prep work I would have to do.

    Got it. None. Thanks.

When I got my 2" leveling kit it definitely looked like the front end was higher. I just recently added a 1" block in the rear and it looks great now.

They said it was the EVAP line, so I am assuming it is the one(connects to) that goes back up into the filler tube. But the damage is right near the tank, The tech had a picture but it wasn't very helpful. If I lived closer to Nashville, I'd take you up on your offer. Always nice to have an extra set of hands. I'm out near Knoxville. Seems to me a new peice of tube or a stint with a few clamps would be all it needs.

America is great because we use the system invented by the British Empire. Britain adopted the Metric System and look what happened to their empire! ;)

total noob question, but I have never bought brand new from a dealer before....

do I have to take the truck to the specific dealer I bought it from for the regular service and maintenance, or can I go to any Toyota dealer? The place I got it from is farther away from a local place (got a better deal there) and I dont' want to make that long drive if I don't have to.

Will I get crap from the dealer I did not buy it from for bringing it there?

you can go anywhere you want. Any Toyota dealer will acknowledge any warranty you have on your truck. You are not obligated to go to the purchasing dealer to service your truck.
