    @Thatbassguy
Did you head out to the Lansing Area this weekend and scout out a meeting place?

No, I slacked off and bought fishing stuff. I did get some fluids changed on the 4Runner, so not a totally unproductive weekend.

I could try to make it next weekend. Or, we just say the parking lot at the baseball field.

You don’t even have to try to out 35s on a tundra, they go right on - it’s too easy. Might as well skip straight to 37/40s for a bit of a challenge.

Baseball field parking lot seems like a good place. Looks like plenty of parking.

For a day trip like this, it's nice to start in Lansing, IA and wind up in Potosi, WI. Potosi has a brew pub that's nice to have a beer and shoot the breeze before everyone heads home.

I know you are all sorted but for anyone else’s information. This site has a Dropbox link to the .gpx http://transwisconsintrail.com/wordpress/?page_id=91

then to add it to Gaia app tap the + at top of the screen and choose import file

Not sure if a subscription is needed to view an imported file

I was thinking of starting from the Illinois border maybe sometime this summer. There is a brewery I have heard of in nearby-ish Deborah IA. that might be a good place to stop for lunch. It’s called Toppling Goliath.

I have started at the Illinois border. There were some mushy spots, but mostly just cutting between cornfields. If it's dry, it should be an easy ride.

There are some areas up near Black River Falls that can be a little sloppy this time of year. I might try to hit the more northern sections later in spring.

You guys see the 2022 Nissan Frontier yet? There's a post on Reddit that called my attention to it. I'm SUPER glad they redesigned that ugly ass truck from 2008, but this seems VERY derivative.
My real worry is that someone will mistake my Tacoma for a Frontier. :D

    Meh.

The front is way different than a Taco. And, the rest looks similar because it's a midsize pickup. If someone couldn't tell the difference I wouldn't worry about their opinion.

That color is pretty similar, though.

    There's a whole mega-thread here about it.

I'll hold my opinion till I see one in real life, but the wheels and rear would be tricky to identify on the road. It's a good looking truck, so good for Nissan. The Frontier has always been an eyesore.

They definitely appear to have taken lots of external design cues from the Taco, but it's a welcome change. Competition is great, as it will provide for better and better products.

Yeah, the last generation was ugly when they first came out! I wonder why they didn't change it sooner.

I heard the motors were good. They were just a little goony looking.

Some might say that you're a little goony looking...

But I'd disagree just the same
