I bought the K&N WASHABLE cabin air filter for my Taco and my wife’s Highlander. It’s been probably 4 years since I bought it and still looks brand new. For the engine air fliter I bought the Denso one from the dealership. Sorry dont have the parts number.

To be fair, "back in the day" the US and Japan didn't exactly get along. Now they're one of our biggest allies. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Of course, back in the day, also, the US used to build more quality products. These days everything is about having the latest and greatest and since things are far more complex than ever before, you'll often see a dip in reliability. Toyota may be known for reliability, but that's because they're behind the times in terms of technology. But, that's why it works.

I blacked all chrome out, bumper caps, grill, and symbols. Also Put new LEDs all around, with switchbacks on DRL’s running white now. Sorry to beat a dead horse on this but I had those and didn't feel comfortable with them. Manufacturer says they are for looks only. So I went with this on the front:
    https://www.bpfabricating.com/collections/tacoma/products/tacoma-recovery-tow-hook

And this on for the back:
    https://www.rhinousainc.com/product...MIs5uR49HY7wIVrtSzCh2CtAKAEAQYASABEgK8jvD_BwE

I just pull people out of snow and back on the road, type of things. If I was doing full on recovery, I would spring for the ARB one that attached to the frame.

Huge advance in eliminating chrome pieces from my Tacoma. Today, I replaced the 4 screws that hold the sun visor in place. I need a nap now.

I got them at our local True Value store. You should be able to get them pretty much at any hardware store. I didn't write it down - took one from the visor in with me to ensure I got the right thread. They are a standard metric size - pretty sure they are 5mm X 20mm and take a T20 bit to install.
