This is my first post so bear with me.

I have read a lot about the TSB SU006-07 and would like some clarification from you seasoned Taco owners.

    1. Has the TSB been offered against the 2011 model yet?
    2. I have the 3 leaf configuration on my DC TRD Sport but don't fully understand if there has been a change to the leaf assembly for 2011 so the 4th leaf isn't necessary any longer.
    3. I tow a bass boat and did notice some sagging in the rear but don't know if that is normal for a Taco or if I should go for the TSB (my Z71 never sagged in back with my boat hitched up).
    4. What are the actual numbers on the leaf so I can compare to see if I have the old stuff.

Currently my top spring has the following painted on the top facing up:
    CHI 48220-04191 LH 190710

Anybody know if I can/should fight for the TSB? I want it if I can get it and wondering if there has been some major redesign with the springs.

    Help!

I had my 2011 Tacoma DC leaf springs replaced with the 4 leafs about 1 month ago. Dealer had to call Toyota to verify.

The block is part of a leveling kit I added before the TSB was done so they left it in while performing the TSB.

    G'day all,

Just returned from my dealership in Colorado Springs and they validated TSB 0359-10 does in fact include the 2011 models, Access cab, Double cab 2wd and 4 wheel drive. Additionally it's vin specific. I can post the affected VINs if needed.

And lastly the TSB states: Updated rear spring assemblies and front and rear shocks are available to improve the "harsh ride" condition.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

    Bob

Vin specific. How can you tell if your vin is included?
    Thanks

Probably shoulda done this in the first post:

I talke to a service guy who phoned a higher up to confirmed the validity and got me a printed copy of the TSB, dated December 21, 2010, Titled: Rear Spring Harsh Ride. And looks to be 18 pages, I have the first three.

When I check with the parts guys to get an average lead time on the necessary parts, they informed me the TSB is only applicable to the VINs listed on the TSB.

    According the the TSB:

    Applicability: 2005-2011 Tacoma
    ENGINE(s) 1GR, 2TR

    VDS(s): JU4GN, JU62N, KU4HN, KU72N, LU42N, LU4EN, MU4FN, MU52N, NX4GN, NX62N,PX42N, PX4EN, TU4GN, TU62N TX4GN, TX62N, UU42N, UU4EN, UX42N, UX4EN
    WMI(s): 3TM, 5TE, 5TF.

    That's awesome news!

My dealership has been a pain and hasn't worked with me to swap the springs because my 2011 wasn't officially covered. Looks like I'll be making another call to them now...

Can anyone post the actual TSB so I can print it out?

The dealership just tried to tell me "TSB's are just a guideline, the work performed/parts aren't free".

That was over the phone. I'll be stopping by there on the way home and getting a more acceptable response, I'd like to have a copy of the TSB if possible.

Thanks bro. I have that at the very least.

It's just always nice to walk in with a hard copy so that when the stealership starts spewing BS from the mouth, I can pull out the hard copy and put an end to it.

I just called in regards, and they said that it has to be a "problem" or causing issues for them to replace it. Isn't the spring replacement for rough ride and towing issues?
