Sounds like the problem is that you put your sunglasses in the taco holder.

 

You're going to have to go in from the roof side.

This is the set^ (paid $11) with the two hooked ends. Place a hook under each side of the back – pry both at once. No need to do front - case opened; glasses fell out. Problem was I had 2 pairs of glasses in there – lesson learned.

Mine only came with Crawl Control, did you have to buy that separately or was it OEM?

I never imagined this thread would be revived, yet here we are.

 

Glad you got them out with no damage. The compartment is definately made for something small. I use it now to store my Cat Shield screw keys wrapped in a small shop rag.

 

I ran into the same issue. Be very gentle with it. Grab a credit card and slide it into the crack on the back underside running it back and forth to dislodge the glasses. If that doesn’t work try the crack in the front side go back and forth. Hope this helps.
