    Lol!

I can't argue with you there!

Nissan is weird. I think some of their cars are ugly, but I think the 370Z is frickin gorgeous! It's so inconsistent.

In 1989 I went back and forth between a Toyota or a Nissan and couldn’t decide on which one I’d buy. I wanted the extended cab Nissan ...

My dad was a Toyota truck owner (1987 4x2 ) and convinced me to get the Toyota 4x2 with a 4spd manual over the Nissan 5spd manual.

I liked the Frontier styling.... :anonymous:

And yes, 80s and 90s paint jobs rocked. Wish they'd bring back bright ass colors. Looked at a 97 Nissan D21 King Cab last Wednesday.... Guy wanted too much for it, but it was effing mint. 5 spd, 4x4 too....

@19TACOYZ this is your friendly neighborhood thread. Welcome to TW

I have mixed feelings on the styling. Overall I like it. They definitely looked to the Tacoma being the class leader for inspiration. Also tried to tie it to the larger titan which I feel copies Fords styling.
Nissan makes a good small truck so I have no reservations about reliability.

It just doesn’t seem to do anything better than the taco.
I wish they maybe would have done like Ford with the Bronco. Ford obviously targeted the Jeep Wrangler but didn’t stop at making a same as competitor and pushed the segment.

Nissan circa 2004 would have been pushing the segment.

Nissan circa 2014 was screwing around in the back room.

Nissan circa 2024.... We'll see. Wish they'd put that Rock Warrior Titan concept into production.

That is badass! I see they did use similar rims on the Frontier. I suppose there's some threshold where everything starts to look like everything else. Until someone innovates and everyone starts mimicking THAT new look.

I really dig the looks of some of their Navara concepts. The Navy Extreme and Nismo would be awesome as production models.

I’ve seen Subaru’s in some ridiculous places, some of which I still have no idea how they got there

What I saw looked more like an absolute disregard for their vehicles than any sort of driver skill. I don't necessarily think they didn't know what they were doing. But, I am pretty certain none of them cared if they broke their car.

There is certainly a time and a place for that type of wheeling...and nothing is better at it than an XJ.

Haha! A part of me would love to go wheeling in some cheap beater sometime.
