When me and friends converted my Prerunner to 4x4 i asked Wyatt on FB as we were friends there for the shifter and leather boots to go over my twin stick FJ case.

Took a LONGGG time for it to show up. Im glad i at least got the shit i ordered.

That makes two now. TW has such a huge community, I wonder if we could put together a task force of trustworthy volunteers in varying aspects of Legal representation or Administrative tasks to keep some people ready to help defend or at least consult with when thing like this occur. I mean I've seen some of the sleuths here on TW track down a hit and run from a fuzzy photograph before. I hope we don't see any more occurrences like this but after Pilfery and now RankSoft I think it'd be nice to have someone to consult at least with in order to try to coordinate with others affected by these happenings and hopefully find some form of justice for the victims.

Just food for thought. I mean we can already coordinate rescues of stuck vehicles within 24 hours and have figured out a makeshift TW express network for shipping locally, why not become more? This community has been one of the best sites I've ever come across and I've made a huge number of people through that I'm happy to call friends, even if we've never met face to face. Sure we have a few dumpster fires here and there, but the majority of people here are very helpful and friendly. I'm proud to have bought a Tacoma and joined this community.

I hope all who are affected get some form of compensation since this kind of loss is a devastating blow, as it sounds like some are completely out of a vehicle and that can be life changing for some. This kind of thing needs to stop, and I think it's going to come down to every company being as transparent as possible or getting dropped from here.

Man what a crazy situation! His forum was pretty cool, but he always came off as a sanctimonious blow hard.

 

I own a business next to him, they were so secretive and a lady one day came banging on the door trying to get inside. I can tell you now that there is nothing inside that building. Just trash and junk parts oh he didnt pay rent there either for like 3 months

Did you even get the work done you wanted, I saw it was solid axle swap with the fabricated housing, And some radflo coilovers and three link

 

No radflos, just leaky Foxs. It came in from another shop swapped but it was crappy. He promised to finish it and improve it. There was some things done to it. I have no idea what exactly was done but at least I could limp it out. It’s almost like it’s the exact way I left it but there are some subtle differences.

 

I'm in on the losses as well. Had stopped checking on this thread until a buddy sent me a pic showing what someone posted of recovering their trucks. Then someone else sent me a link with the thread and started reading where I left off.

 

Still can't believe how bad people got screwed. I bought my crawl box through him back in 2012 (that probably just came from Marlin). Looking back through my emails I sent him money in June 2012 and he emailed me with a real tracking number in July 2012. I had also bought a twin sticked FJ case from a member on here SilverSeven that Wyatt had originally built for him but never got around to installing. I also bought a set of wheels/tires that came off one of the white trucks that got a SAS (Ray I think was his name).

Wyatt sent me his old wheels and tires on a pallet via Fastenal, it took him a long time but he did send them. Thankfully I never got screwed over by him but I definitely sent him a good chunk of money years ago, and I feel for those who are seeing this side of him. Maybe that's how he always was and just got worse over the years, or maybe he got in over his head and did this shit out of desperation. Either way there's no excuse for how he treated his customers. Looks like I now have a shirt to use as a fire starter.
