What does he have in terms of recovery points on the rear? Does he have a hitch shackle or anything?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
His wife is rolling back with a portable winch. Thanks y’all

I wanna thank all y’all for your help in getting the truck to where it’s at. I couldn’t have done it with out you. Shout out to @marinemonkey & all of y’all at the last mod day that I’ve met so far. Now I find where this rubbing is coming from lol

The silver color is always classic, and I love how it reflects the sky. Your ride looks almost the same as my cement in that pic.
My FJC is silver but doesn’t reflect like that.

Silver is the jam. It does look like cement sometimes and baby blue sometimes too, she wears dirt well. I’m a fan of cement and spruce mica also

Thanks again for coming out and tuning the truck. It has made a significant difference, and was exactly what I was looking for.
The truck shifts much better, and no longer lags out of the gate.
The gears plus the tune makes this heavy pig more or a piglet!

Did you go for a 87 tune or hi-test?

I went with the 87 Tune.....gonna roll like this, maybe try the hi-test for the hell of it, but have been impressed thus far.
I am going to drive it around and give my thoughts again, after I got time in the seat.

    3rd gen for now.
OVtune is working on support for 2nd gens as we speak. There are over 100 different ECU IDs for 2nd gens alone that he has to decipher and recode for his software THEN build base tunes for. I'll make sure y'all know when that is done.

2009-2018 4runner tunes are half tunes right now. The ecu has changes done for power delivery but we are waiting for him to unlock the TCU so we can adjust transmission mapping.

Tundra tunes are off and on available. One days he'll post that you can buy, the next day they are taken down. That alone has steered me a little off of it. Waiting for some consistency there before dabbling.

But, hell yea @Built2Ride im glad this tune is doing a little something for your rig. After you put some miles on that tune just let me know where you want to go with it!

Anyone up to help me do UCAs/one LCA/One CVJ this weekend or Friday? I will provide beer!

Got into a fender bender 2 weeks ago (other person merged into my wheel), so I ordered JBA UCAs, new LCA, Tie Rod and CVJ.

Leaf springs are great. Stiff n bouncy with no bumper yet. Measuring around 28” center of hub to a trimmed fender flare. Side note I loaded the truck with 40 bags of mulch that was wet and it dropped me to 25” hub to fender which would be about an inch higher than the front. So I’m excited to get my rear bumper in and on.
