I purchased this truck new in Jan of '19...I drive a LOT of miles and many of those are in 4WD...I must say this little truck is a GREAT VALUE!! We have quite a few vehicles in our family (of 5) and this is MY favorite - by far.

I'm not easily impressed - ask my wife and 3 kids - but I must say I enjoy driving this as much as the day I drove it off the lot. Oddly enough I hit the 99.9K mark as I was pulling into our property last night and I snapped this as I was driving out this morning!CA477346-62B6-4DFA-9664-6115B007FA40.jpg

Yeah - I am pretty busy - I have the dealership take care of everything...every 5K Miles. Our dealership has been very fair and nice to deal with.

Don't know about OP but I let my son take my 2021 SR5 out for a spin and he is now plotting my early demise.

Certainly not - my wife does not like the truck...HAHAHA! She hasn't driven a vehicle under 70K $ in YEARS!! They will probably scrap it and buy something lower to the ground and MUCH faster (lots of jokes could be had on that one)!! If I die tomorrow I'm more worried about who gets my main ride....376A0722-B4A0-4493-947C-2C80681D67BE_1_201_a.jpg

If I had a dad with a truck as nice as yours, I would be buying poison on the dark web for you as well :D

LOL...Oddly enough I asked my son if he was interested in taking mine...he said he was fine....a very close friend sold him his 2002 TRD Off Road Tacoma - it is lifted, ARB Bumper, Warn Winch and other goodies...My friend bought it new and put a ton of money in it before he sold it (replacing a ton of stuff that might give him trouble - rear, clutch, tires - new Duratracs, etc) and sold it cheap ($3500) to my son. My son like his truck as it is much simpler...LOL. Watch you back with your son...HAHAHAHA

He loves them...in the mud and off road around our property. He has slid a lot on the roads however when they are wet. I honestly believe that is due to my son's inexperience driving - particularly a pick up on wet pavement. My friend who sold him the truck LOVES Duratracks and in fact is buying a new set for the new truck (lifted F150) he bought when he sold my son his. My friend says he LOVES the Duratracs and never had any issues. I seriously considered them when I've replaced my truck's tires but I stuck with a less aggressive tire (Micheline Defenders)...they've been outstanding on and off road but I will admit the look is not like my son (or most) find appealing. I would not hesitate on getting the Duratracs unless you are in a part of the country where you need a stronger sidewall (we are not).

$3500 is a smoking deal for an old Taco like that. Hope your son realizes how lucky he is to snag an old truck for that price.

Beautiful horse BTW - what kind?

Nice! I'm not as high mileage as you, but I do put about 25k per year on mine and have been very happy so far after just under a year of ownership!

Yeah he realizes it...as much as any 19 year old can appreciate it - HAHAHA. He heads off to college soon and is taking the truck with him...I believe it will serve him well. The truck was garaged and meticulously serviced...My friend put in several thousand dollars doing things like I mentioned - including the Timing Belt, Water Pump, etc as well as the new set of Duratracs all to make it nice for Buck (my son). My boy works hard (construction, landscaping, tractor, skid steer work, etc) and saves his money for things so he values a dollar...my girls - not so much (that's my fault) HAHAHA.

My wife is the horse expert...we have a small horse farm...she bought him for me about 15 years ago...I think he is a Rocky Mountain...he is gaited. He is great!!!
