Edit: Nope, I didnt get the spacers either. The pieces measured were the rear backing plates. Watched the video below and taco twons w/ trd pro skid. Missing the spacers on the hardware list.

I paid RCI $10 to ship the hardware set.

 

Are you referring to this. 1”Diameter x 3/8” Depth x 3/8” Hole nylon spacer that goes between the O.E. Front skid, RCI tranny skid to frame? I’ve seen them also use 1/2” Depth. I had no problem with 3/8” Depth. Got spacers from local hardware store. I think they were .55 cents each?

My order 41059 was shipped today! Aluminum engine skid and cross member bar.

 

Do they ship the sliders with grade 8 bolts?

 

Yes & No They use grade 5 bolts and the metric is SS 10.9 grade (8)

Some do, most don’t.

 

I haven't, mine have been on there for 2 years and I've beat the ever loving hell out of them. Still straight. Probably need to retorque everything though....

Oh boy, #40902 they shipped my 20 degree powder coated sliders this morning!

 

My order is supposed to be here tomorrow, Friday 02 April.

[Order #40893] (Ordered on February 8, 2021), basically 7-8 weeks.

Sliders and Gas Tank Skid - both powder coated (Engine skid showed up in February).

For the Sliders, has anyone applied silicone sealant to the tops/vertical sides to keep water from getting between the frame and the slider mounts? Not overly concerned, but thought it may alleviate future frame rust.

People who got a rear dif skid. I have some questions about the mounting Clamps. Is yours gapped? Mine are, but I’ve seen pictures with a gap and without and I’m not sure if I should tighten them up more. They seem snug, but maybe the clamp is supposed to be formed when installed?
