    Will Bilstein coils (specifically these guys: e4-fd1-y005b29) work on 2.5s? They're 14", 600lb. I tried googling it and could only come up with comparisons between Bilstein and Fox, not that anyone had performed the swap. Additional searching revealed basic info where it mentions compatability with other 2.5 shocks.

    Hi all I am getting ready to install 2.5 coilovers and was hopping some one could help me figure a good height to set the ring at. Is it that you get the amount of lift for how much threads are showing? I know it depends on your weight but is there a general rule?

    Are you asking if we can look up someone else's order and let you know what tune they have? No, we are not going to do that. If that customer wants to give you that info thats fine. We also do not release valving information. Please PM if you have further questions

    Absolutely not. I'd never think to ask that. I'm asking about a customer's own order.

    Example: it's been a couple of years since I purchased my shocks from you and I want to know if you still have the details on how they were valved. Do you still have that information?

    All of them.
    I just jack the front tires off the ground and hit the threads with a little wd40 a few minutes prior to adjusting. As long as the pinch bolt is loose it spins decently easy.

    I've jacked the front up and hit the threads with a bit of PB Blaster and use a HF 5/16th punch. Good arm workout. Only problem is my jack tops out at 18" of lift so I don't have much wiggle room. Probably will have none when I go up in rim size. Got to get me a pro eagle.

    Throw a block of wood on the jack to gain some more lift. also I used some ceramic Dry chain lube from my mtb to get those rings moving. They almost spin now.
