Pioneer audio??

anyone in here have a pioneer setup in your truck?
i wanna get the head unit and just wanna know how u like it

You can't go wrong with Pioneer. I have the AVIC-X910BT and like it a lot.

 

don't yet have a pioneer in my truck (i will soon enough), but have pioneer in all my other vehicles...no complaints...good equipment.

I have the AVH-P3200DVD and it's awesome... You can easily switch control from the ipod, to the head unit. And it is extremely customizable, you can make everything how you like it.

I got a 4200 waiting to be installed.

 

Just wondering what is the difference between the 4200,3200dvd, and 3200bt??
Because my operation manual has all three names on the cover.

 

I honestly don't know. I know mine doesn't have Bluetooth or nav but I ready for all. I bought the bluetooth for it for $80.

 

the 3200 is a 5.8'' screen and has some controls on the side aswell as usb on the front and an sd card slot on the front.. the 3200bt is the same as the regular 3200 but with bluetooth built in. the 4200 is basically a 3200 but with a 7'' screen. It has a usb but its on the back, and the sd card slot is behind the screen. There are a couple other minor differences between the 3200 and 4200 but those are the main differences.

Ditto.. What dash kit is that? Mine is textured silver so i think it is metra.

 

I used to have this head unit in my old 1st gen, and it performed pretty well, had a rich, full bass tone to it, even with just stock speakers. Although, it is Pioneer Premier.

Also, I've always used online car stereo as opposed to Crutchfield, they have much better pricing, imo.

 

Im sorry to hear that man, only 5.8"? Damn. Naw just messin with ya. Yea like I said the 3200 and 3200bt are the exact same unit except the bt has the bluetooth built in. They both have the 5.8" screen.

 

I went cheap- the DEH 3200 USB. With the dash kit and shipping it was $150. Sound quality is much improved through stock speakers, and I can finally hear my IPod. No pics, but it looks like a professional install. Best Buy would have charged me over $250.

Installed the Pioneer 3200 from Crutchfield yesterday, and am very happy with the results. I can finally get the IPod to play through the stereo with no loss in audio quality, and the stock speakers sound clearer. I've got a Pioneer deh-p7200hd
It has hd radio, but i listen to the Ipod 90% of the time it sounds great through the head unit,the only issue i have is that the usb is in the front.
It has 6 preamp outputs so i have a 4 channel amp and a powered sub through it.
