:101010: any chance you could share a close up? Did you do it while you had tires mounted? And hand sanded or using a tool?

Was looking at the cxts in the 17" wheel variant, but they've pretty mu h disappeared. About to pull the trigger on some kendas.

What kind of mileage is everyone getting from 255/85's?

I need new tires pretty soon and I was set on ST MAXX's but I can't find them anywhere. One local tire place says they can get 2 tires after checking with all 10 of their suppliers.

Now I'm wondering if I should look at KM3's, Toyo MT's, or Yokohama MT's. They are all the same price or a little cheaper than the Coopers, but which will last longer? This will be on a daily driver that is 90-95% paved highway and the rest gravel roads and off road.

My vote is Toyo MT. I’ve ran that tire and size a lot and love them.

How long do they last? My factory Goodyear Kevlar's will have at lease 35,000 on them by the time they get replaced. Will the Toyo's or any of the others last that long?

I got about 37K out of my last set of ST MAXX in 255/80/R17 which I was told was better than most. I changed out the Kevlar stockers at around 26-27K. I've been super happy with the TOYO Open Country AT III so far. About 7K on them since October.

Installed the 6112/5160/Deaver stage 2 last weekend. 33x10.50 Kenda Klevers went in today. Voila.

I'm pushing 30k on my Kendas. They are still doing great.

I did have some stair stepping on the fronts, but thats 100% my fault for not getting them rotated.

Definitely would recommend these tires. I've always been hesitant to buy "off brand" tires, but this set continues to impress me on and offroad !

I don't know if nitto has made your list, but my ridge grapplers have lasted me over 40k and I'm just now hitting the wear markers.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like there are any Nitto's that are available in 255/85r16.

When y’all said a 33 fits under the truck...did you mean, “yea you can crank it up there but it touches the exhaust and rear pumpkin”, or am I doing something wrong here?

Have you re-geared or tuned for those 35's? If not how's the power loss?
I got a set of 255/85r16's and hardly noticed any loss. Plus I plan on tuning here in the next couple of weeks. I'm due for another set of tires pretty soon so, I'm wondering if it'll be that much of a difference going with those Kenda's.
