Just installed Screenprotech on the instrument panel plastic on my 2018 TRDOR. It is as good as Chloe described. All the scratches, including some larger ones, on the plastic disappeared! The end result is very clean and actually looks better than the original new. In addition, customer service was outstanding. I ordered for wrong model year (my mistake) and they sent the correct part at no additional charge right away.

@AUTacoma18 any luck with that info? Just got in my new cluster and really want to put a one on to prevent dust line again.

I'd find the cheapest one online and see if your local dealer will match it.

Has anyone noticed that the head unit definition is not as sharp? I installed mine and the text and images seem blurry.

If there are already some scratches on my instrument cluster from and mistake of using a microfiber rag to clean it, will the screen protech help elimate it and then protect it? Or am I better off getting a new glass then get the screenprotech?

The protector does help hide some of the scratches by reflecting the light differently so they aren't so visible. However it probably depends on how bad the scratches are.

A new cluster plastic was cheap enough that I just bought it and it was easier to put the protector on a new cluster out of the vehicle then swap them.

I purchased a new instrument cluster from the link someone provided in this thread. $23. I then found a business in my area that does ceramic coating. He charged me $40 for him to coat the cluster. I figured I'd spend the money now and save myself the hassle of being afraid to wipe it at any point. Installation was incredibly easy.

As you can see, my previous cluster was scratched and cracked all to hell...and back. And then back to hell again. It was long overdue.20210220_164842.jpg 20210220_163936.jpg 20210220_162518.jpg

I got new instrument cluster so I got it covered with Xpel Ultimate film on it.

Soooo, I was putting the gauge together with the new instrument cluster today. I noticed something odd with the RPM needle, I have never seen it before. WTF just happen?!

Screen protech. Only had 10k miles and my cluster bothered the heck out of me.
Problem solved. Added to it my radio/Screen and buttons.
Applies like a zagg cellphone protector. Worth it!

Going to second Screen Protech as being the best option for the instrument cluster, nav screen, and shift panel. Literally invisible and provides worry free protection to these services. Also the maintenance is so easy. Recommend without reservation! Go check out their website to purchase the kit. You won’t regret it.

I’m sold on the Screen Protech kit and bought it with Web10 discount code. Chloe’s code doesn’t work anymore. Oh well. LoL

I’m also buying a new cluster screen anyway so I’ll post up a comparison when I get it.

I ordered the ScreenProTech kit and sprung for the second/double set. Unfortunately, they only sent one of everything except the shifter- that one they sent 2. I've emailed them and hope they reply. The product is high quality and did cover the small swirl scratches on the cluster panel. The most noticeable improvement was the radio; it more glossy & just looks great. When the back up camera is on it's more vivid. The factory uncoated screen is dull in comparison.

So how much was the new screen and did you get more satisfaction from that rather then just the protector.
I couldn't see a big diff, but photo's are deceiving.
How did you feel about going above and beyond?

And what's a new screen run?

new screen was about $25 from Toyota.

the new screen is obviously perfect. The old one turned out good but you can still see small scratches at the edges.
I figured for $25 more I could start fresh and won’t have to worry about the minor stuff.
