@Dex__43 is back in town from out of state so we took the sway bars off and went to hollister. Ive taken my kids exploring dirt roads, but this was the first time I took them wheeling (they're 5), and now they hate wheeling (not fans yet). I made the mistake of leaving them in the cab on the first obstacle. When I dropped off the log my bumper slammed down onto it and scared them to hell, crying and all. Right after the third picture after I drop off that next log is where my bumpers slams down. I felt like shit for not foreseeing that. From there on they got out for obstacles and watched, which went well and they were having fun. Then we did that trench at the bottom of truck hill and they setup on a log on the side. Sam was spotting me through the trench then I hear them screaming. They had fire ants all over them. So started bad and ended bad, but I learned to get them out for obstacles and maybe wait till they get a bit older. They said at the end "worst adventure ever". Also dented my driveline and now I got serious vibes. I kept trying different lines on this big rock obstacle, and in hindsight should of gave up before Fn my driveline on that last try. @rob1208 what's that driveline shop?

Sam's truck did very well. I hadn't seen it since he did the 4x4 conversion.

Looks like it was a good thing that you got the transfer case skid.

It sure is. And it's a sad reminder that you should let people know where you're headed and that you should not travel alone, especially on a trail like Fordyce.

Man this is a bummer. I took a route off Cisco Grove and went east and ended up in Fordyce Lake. This is not the hard trail everyone talks about right? This was a few years ago.

Not enough to have a build thread.
I really doubt it, you’d have a lot of body damage if you even made it through

That’s what I figured. It was way too easy like Bowman. I don’t mind the way route one bit lol

No that is not the fordyce trial. Fordyce starts off the exit before eagle lakes rd. It does loop back to the lake though

The "easy way" to Signal Peak passes a trail to Fordyce Lake. I think this is where the bridge work was/is being done. Is that the trail you mean?
