Call a locksmith. It’ll be 50-150 depending on if they are security keys.

Oh no, yikes! You might have to call a locksmith to come unless you're able to find your keys :(

I once had a spare but I've lost it to but I went to my local walmart and had it cut and it only cost me 5$ so I dont think my key is chipped or anything... Ive broken into my truck and got it unlocked...ive got my remote start key fob but its useless without key because you have to put key in ignition and turn key on before touching gas or brake pedal bc without key in it shuts back off

If it’s not chipped it’ll be like 50 bucks, because they have to come to you and match it to your ignition.

Do you have AAA or a friend that has it. They can just get the truck open assuming you left the keys inside

It's a first gen, you just smack the rear slider in the center and the clasp pops loose

Take your title to your local toyota dealer, they'll cut you a factory key for about 90 buck.

No matter what path you take to replace it, if you can have them cut for 5 dollars, cut a bunch. And learn some responsibility. Not hating, just saying. I used to just leave my keys under my seat. If they weren’t there, I had no idea where they were. Didn’t have a spare either and learned the hard way.

Yep, just not at the dealer. Visit your local Walmart, ~5 buck each. Haha

or cheaper. Unchipped cost about 30 here at dealers. Had to unlock my Honda last fall. With insurance and ID. That was ownership enough for them.

IDK about Honda. And first gen Tacoma are not chip, that's for sure. IDK about your area, but locally, a buddy paid $84+ tax to get a factory key cut from record. Toyota needed registration or vehicle title with person on registration/title present and ID. Insurance don't prove ownership, it just prove someone have insurance for the vehicle. Anyone can buy insurance for a vehicle, even if the vehicle is owned by someone else. Per dealer policy.

Might be cheaper in your area.

I guess Honda figured if I was paying insurance, I was driving and if I was driving, I needed to open the door.
