Installed the Tacoma Beast headlights with LED sequential turn signals. Getting closer to being "finished" with this thing. Just need a tiny bit more of chrome deleted from the interior, new tail lights, then finally wheels and tires. Might try to win the lottery and get one of those Magnusson superchargers while I'm at it I guess. It's nice having this thing paid off so I can put more money into modding it.

If anybody wants some stock TRD headlights from a 2017 for any reason let me know...I have the stock front and rear shocks and a couple other things as well.

What's goin on in Scottsdale auto related this weekend? Just saw tons of r8's c8's gt3's some older McLaren's mobbin up 101 abt an hour ago. Many of them with Texas plates. Or is this a Scottsdale thing I don't see since I'm down in the Ahwatukee bubble. Was picking up a new racing sim wheel for the PC and I saw probably 40-50 very very nice cars rip by.

 

First of all: What wheel did you get? What sim do you typically race on? I was weighing updating my G27 for duty since it has next to no hours on it, but it keeps getting further and further outdated with every year. Might not even be able to put lipstick on that pig anymore.

Second of all: That's Scottsdale typically. I'm sure there was probably some show somewhere, but there's always hot rides rolling around, especially in North Scottsdale around the Airpark and 101 area.

 

got the new g923 for 220 on offer up. Sealed in box. I do Assetto corsa and there's a free add on called content manager that lets you join servers that people have set up. When I had game pass for a few months a while ago I loved Dirt rally 2. I had a g290 abt 6 mo ago but a cat decided she wanted to go through a wire chewing phase and chewed the one hard wired into the wheel. The shop down here in Tukee couldn't fix the wheel either. This one was 220 on offerup and sells new for 350 so I didn't hesitate since I missed having it. Depending how much I'm working this summer I may move to I racing if I want to actually put dedicated time into it. I still get in 10 ish hours a week on the sim stuff even if I am working 25 hours and doing school. This stuff is fun, and best of all; No Gas needed.

 

Yeah I got real into GT Sport awhile back, got about as good as I can get using the DS4 before I realized that a wheel was the only way to go forward. Considered making my own sim rig, but I just didn't wanna put the money into it. Online racing is a tremendous amount of fun, for sure. The PC Sims are pretty cool, but I think they're a bit too real for me sometimes. I'm one of the few that enjoys some of the more whimsical elements of Gran Turismo (like the VGT cars, etc) so it strikes a good line. I just wanna have fun, while still having a technical challenge, and Gran Turismo gives me that.
