    Years ago at a previous job making end of the (12 hour) day rounds and come to the boiler room door --- there is water coming under the door...
    There is about 2" of water on the floor, floor drains barely keeping up. Through the steam we can see a pipe had broken about 12 feet off the floor and is blowing hot water across the room.
    Well, the old guy I worked with surveys the situation about 15 seconds without saying a word. Finally he turns to me and says "..if we pace ourselves we can make this last until the end of the shift.." 4 hours later we clocked out.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

    It was raining when I took the dogs out for their walk at 4...snowing now. The temps are dropping - sitting at 35F right now on our porch - but everything is still so wet that the snow is melting when it hits the ground. We'll see how long that lasts and how much we ultimately get. Shouldn't be more than an inch or two.

    April begins with a cruel joke by mother Nature.

    Be safe out there!!!

    I am taking my wife to her doctor's appointment in the the North Hills. She doesn't like to drive into the jaws of traffic and multi lane highways. The snow started falling about an hour ago here, but it is a dusting to maybe an inch.
