You can get it at boat supply stores.. Make sure you work it in and follow the directions so it lasts a little longer.

I scuffed mine and painted them with AEM Bumper Coating. It's a flexible semi gloss that very closely matches the factory finish. Since I had to pull them off and clean them to replace the weather stripping, I figured it was a perfect time to refinish them as well. It turned out really well, I must say. Not as cheap as the Mr Clean Magic Eraser idea, but still pretty cheap and they look brand new now!

i was thinking maybe magic eraser and then mothers back to black, couple applications letting the plastic absorb it in between, since i already have it. if it seems to fade as fast as before ill try the 303. thanks

I actually did the magic eraser..then applied back to black...and it didnt work. Just looks greasy. A little better yes, but not anywhere near where i wanted them.

the 303 idea is whats next for me...if that doesnt work, then ill have to paint :/

The 303 will not last as long as the back to black. It looks great, but first rain and it is gone, and runs down your paint in the process.

Magic erasers work wonders... I clean my white nikes with them, they can get literally anything off. Who knew they could fix fenders and bumpers haha.

Dadgummmit, really? Do you mean 303 after the Magic Eraser treatment, or just spooging on 303? I had high hopes for this. I am three mods behind, and I don't have time to get to any of them...

Did you follow the destructions, JD?

I haven't tried the Magic Eraser yet.
There are instructions? Wipe it on, let it sit, wipe off the excess?

the heat gun trick works but ya risk accidently melting your flares, but if done right itll bring the life back into all plastic including the plastic on quads.

A-ha, OK, you didn't ruin Christmas for me yet. And sorry about the instructions crack; I forgot you aren't chris or krazie...

What would the krazie method be? Spray on WD40, light match...

No offense taken. I really didn't read the instructions on the 303. It wouldn't be the first time I screwed something up by winging it.

Clean all the buildup off with the erasers then use the 303.. No protectant will last if it cant adhere

I've tried the heat gun trick and honestly I didn't like the outcome.. It does make it blacker BUT the final product comes out blotchy and uneven...

Right, that's what I figured, and that's why I asked jdmcq to clarify. Like with painting, most of it is prepping the surface, right? I just like the idea of not painting, especially when it is too cold and too wet to do it correctly...

not that Ive seen... Unless you can get factory ones but I think they were only in certain colors..

I wanted to paint mine but the shop said it would be tough to get the paint to adhere. especially with all the dressing that have been put on to shine them up
