    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Another vote for Gaia here.

I use Gaia for road stuff, and OnX hunt for hiking/hunting stuff.

I also, recently started using OnX Offroad as a backup. It helped this past weekend, because my Gaia was working like shit.

I think it had more to do with my tablet being old with low memory than Gaia being bad... looking in to a more up to date tablet with more memory now.

I use Avenza maps. Puts a dot on the map to indicate where you are, no cell service needed. I bought a $5 SNF map(same one they sell at the forest office). I’m sure there’s more features but I like simple so I don’t use them.
I have the free Gaia app and I’ve never got it to be useful for me. Most everybody on here uses it and likes it so I’m probably doing it wrong.

That awkward moment when UPS tells you that you should probably open a claim for a lost item when your welder that was suppose to be delivered yesterday seems to have disappeared.

Hopefully you file a claim, and the vendor sends out another... and you receive 2 for the price of one :fingerscrossed:

I wish, but I kinda doubt that will be the case, for what this one cost I'm guessing it won't be that easy or quick

I doubt its lost, its probably on a train that’s why it hasn’t been scanned since the 26th, my guess is it will show up in the next day or 2 .

I'll send you a message, it was suppose to be here yesterday, not that I was going to use it before the weekend, I still don't have my tanks yet

I'm just being impatient because I want to play with my new toys :annoyed::welder:

In other news, something has been stealing our baby goats, so we set up trail cams and this is all that we have seen thus far

I also use Avenza. You can download georeferenced USGS quad maps with topography and roads and forest service motor vehicle use maps for free. You can also import KMZ files into any georeferenced map. I like to plan my route in google earth and export a KMZ file. Then I import the KMZ as a linked map layer so I can follow my route.

Buddy had no luck Tuesday. Said he had his kids dig around for an hour or so. Also said there’s still a bunch of snow in that section but its been warm. I won’t have a chance to get out there until Saturday unfortunately.
