    To verify all working I personally bricked all 3 of my trucks on purpose, fully recovered them, READ/Flash / etc everything working.

    CAN timeouts also significantly improved.

    *** important note *** on the recovery method.

    This will be included in the instructions as well.

    AFTER you successfully recover the ECU via recovery flash, you must let all modules reset before you can flash it again. Otherwise it won't let you read the VIN (toyotas doing, not our software).

    To do this, simply turn the vehicle off for 5-10 mins. (after flashing, and starting and verifying the flash was successful).

    KDMax pro 9.0
    Just got the kdmax 6.0 performance tune. Tip in is perfect. Like old school car i used to have when I was younger. Shifting is awesome. Effortless on the freeway . Perfect. A big upgrade from base ovt2.0 premium tune. For those wondering if it's worth it. Its definitely worth it.

    Good question but it looks like my tuner didn’t pair with my ECU correctly and now I have no credits to actually tune anything. So basically I used my four credits on air.

    You didn't waste them if there was an error like that. Reach out to @OVTune on Zendesk.

    Also, you should have nine Credits total. Either to flash two VINs or Unlock your ECU ID for viewing / editing and flashing one VIN. Let Mat know about that situation also.

    @OVTune I just wanted to follow up on this. I plan on doing the ECU update myself, then tuning. Knowing that I can recover my ECU, should something go wrong during the update and I brick it, will alleviate some worries.
