I was gonna say that's gotta be somewhere through Big Sur. That one gas station toward the end with the rest stop and boutique store had premium that was almost $7/gallon two years ago when we drove through. But it was a total tourist trap place.

There are gas stations right now in Beverly Hills at well over $5/gallon but they know their demographic

The other day the hose Accidentally hit premium in a wealthier part of town and I didn’t even notice until after I put $10 (which was nothing) in gas and switched back to reg before it made me more broke then I wanted to be

 

Pffft, gas is cheap in any state that isn't CA or HI.

West coast WA gas is anywhere from 3.29 to 3.69 for regular

 

Just filled up, we at 2.58 for reg in Idaho and 2.96 for reg in Eastern WA

 

I don't even look at the price anymore most of the time, I just look for Arco's because they always have the cheapest Top Tier besides Costco

 

I don't even look for top tier cause Toyotas does give a shit as long as the octane is bang on. The BMW is stupid fuel sensitive though, days when I want 100% full power I need Chevron 93.

 

i don't even worry about price cuz I don't want to get a tank of shit rust/water/algae diesel from the ol mom n pop corner store

 

Its actually kind of harder to find gas that isn't top tier anymore really....I think USA Stations around here are the only ones that aren't. Maybe 7/11 stations too

Top Tier is probably like CARB anyway...just pay enough money and you get the title

 

Is that a problem around there? The little mom and pop farm supply places here usually have lines into the street for AG and DOT diesel.

 

It's just a minimum addative package content thing anyway. Doesn't indicate anything about cleanliness or fuel station maintenance. I fill at the Wally World for the yotas, and normal stations for the bimmer (conoco, cenex, chevron, sometimes Costco)

 

Luuuuucky 3.09 is the norm and 3.30+ depending on the neighborhood

 

Worst part is, it isn’t even summer yet

 

I was gunna say either Hwy 1 or somewhere along 395, like Walker or something. Shit ain't cheap there either.
