I'd have to care to do more than just compute it before leaving the gas station. I use it to make sure nothing is grossly wrong with the vehicle. If the cruiser is around 11-14 it's normal. If the taco is around 17-20 it's normal, if the bimmer is around 25-29 it's normal, alternatively if the bimmer is around 17-19 it means I'm driving like an asshole and nothing is actually wrong. Right now it has three stuck injectors and gets 8 lol

Shit, I don't even calculate, I just kind glance at the trip meter. If it's 220-250 a tank, that's pretty normal.

Looks like a 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan. One of the few (49-54) years that Lincoln bought Hydramatics from GM.

I used to get 15 in a 69 Ford econoline with the 302 :pout:

I've got injectors on the way and a magnaflow CAT I need to weld flanges onto then install

I think that'll take care of my poor mileage... hopefully

I survive a year + long pandemic without getting covid .... 3 days into warm spring weather down here and my allergies have me fucking wrecked

I'm this close to pulling the trigger on Lasik.

BTW it's BS that insurance won't cover that sort of thing by now. Probably because it would mean way less money for them in the long run with people not having to see the eye doc every year to renew contact/glasses prescriptions.

One time the volvo I was driving to school had the return fuel line come off, and was pouring gas out on the ground as I drove. Never seen a gas gauge move so fast

Sounds promising though, decent gas milage sure saves a lot of pit stops on these small tanks.

My sister got lasik years ago, I've never heard her say anything about regretting it. Glasses suck.

The glasses conspiracy cartel stuff is kind of nuts - i wonder if that plays into it.

Yeah my dad got it done several years ago and said it was one of the best things he's done. Still has to wear reading glasses but it fixed his nearsightedness. I guess you can only fix one or the other. I don't have trouble with things up close though.
