Inside tires are for when it's loaded down. Like dump truck with all the extra little wheels they can lower.

Is that an intentional feature like on big rig trailers?

Or a cheapskate that refuses to buy 6 tires?

Lol, ok, I see how it works. Shits only backwards when you post. Reading threads, it's all normal.

I'd love to have that Honda but it's a rare gem and would fetch a pretty penny.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but a clogged cat won't throw a p0420. A failed cat will though because it's letting all those unfiltered emissions through and triggering the o2 sensor to throw the code.

Hence why I've ordered injectors to go with it.. don't know what else it could be. Already changed all the vac lines and had the throttle body bored out and cleaned

Tires are expensive after you just bought an 80k truck

Regardless of why I'm getting the code, the cat needs replaced

    probably the latter.

I won bingo the other day. I saw a late model cummins dually and all four tires on the rear were different brand/patterns

When your wife complains about noxious fumes and refuses to ride in your truck with you, yes it needs replaced.

Besides what kind of environmental engineer are you? The type that's looking for the most efficient way of ruining it?

yeah for sure. But you'll also wanna address what caused it to fail so it doesn't kill your new cat as well, like those injectors you're replacing...hopefully that solves it.

I sure hope so... the cat was probably ruined when the PO drove the truck for an unknown amount of time with a dead cyl

Otherwise (besides faulty injectors) what would ruin a cat?

That's painful... I'd hate to be that 3rd member with 4 different tire circumferences

Running too lean, running too rich...unburnt fuel sent through it...good ways to ruin the cat (or cats in my case).

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
That was my experience with a 420. A clogged cat would not let the engine breathe to run until I removed the O2 sensors to provide an opening for the exhaust to escape.
