Anytime Locker Mod wire questions

I've got a suitable relay and would be ready to procede, but have some confusion over which end of the wires are to be connected to the relay after cutting. Can anyone tell me if the connector end or wiring harness end of the wires is connected to the relay and if the other side of the cut wires is just left unterminated.

I'm just trying to figure out which side of each of the cut wires is attached before cutting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The wire harness side. Yes, the terminal side are to be the loose ends.

 

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I Just didn't wan't to assume anything and start chopping on a truck that's less than a week old.

At this point I'm leaning toward the relay because I would prefer the locker to engage when I engage the button and not have to flip a secondary switch first. If I'm reading correctly it can cause some issues with the indicators blinking if you forget to flip the switch off before starting the truck.

I'm not opposed to cutting wires on a week old truck, just wanted to clarify the connections before cutting.
