I have a Super White scooped hood (with a black scoop decal).

I'd like to trade it for a white non-scooped hood + cash.

From my conversations with body shops they do not recommend these hoods because they often require reworking to get it up to spec. I looked into this too and was told by multiple body shops that you run the risk of spending more money having to rework the hood.
If anyone is willing to do it let us know how it goes!

What about some of the other aftermarket scooped hoods? There seem to be a lot out there. Not advisable across the board from the body shops you've talked to? Oblivious there's a lot of us that want a scoop that would be waiting forever.

Pretty interesting thoughts. I’m not sure I’d want to trust a hood from Amazon, considering you can get an OEM for about $100 more from a dealer by shopping around. I’ll still wait for the next metallic black one near baltimore/philadelphia.

I did ask about this one and 3 others. This is in the central TX area tho so not sure if it’s different in other states. The body shops here unanimously said oem is your best shot unless you are buying local and can return it if there’s an issue

Want a scooped Silver Sky Metallic.

This month am driving through Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee (towards Nashville).

Willing to meet anywhere along the way that's a reasonable distance from I-70, I-24, etc.
