It's super easy in my stock TRDOR, you won't have any issues. There are a lot of sections without cell service however, so keep that in mind if you're solo.

I'm interested in Wenatchee -> North. Section 3 was fun last year, and it's a good reason to hop off the trail in Winthrop/Twisp to fish the Methow :)

I'd love to join in for the trek.
The only issue for me, is what do I need to take along, to be "prepared" for the journey?
I'm new to the scene, but think my ride will do fine for the most.

Sleeping bag, tent, food, water. Just the basics really. These are just forest service roads so you shouldn't need recovery gear or spare parts (but if you have em bring em).

    Camping ready, no problem.
I'll get my truck (camping) box sorted and ready.
Gotta have food. I'm former Army, so I can handle the minimalist aspect of getting by.
Recovery gear, I have a quality Come-Along, lengths of chain, tree straps, etc. Basic stuff that I hope to never have a need for.
I plan to have a bumper and winch on, soon, but I doubt I'll have it by time the get-together happens.

    Subbed to the thread!!!

    This is a maybe.
I can load up with some firewood and portable stainless fire pit, to help out in that aspect.
What I don't like about the convenience, is the mess!!!

I use to take the family over to Wenatchee and Chelan in the Summers. The fires seemed to always hit the region hard in July/August.
I always wanted to go explore the area when we were there, but the tow vehicle, I never wanted to take the chances of taking it---------->>out there.

I wouldn't bother...there is about a 99% chance that there will be a burn ban when we do this.

Good news for you is that you won't have to deal with the mess!

    Right On.
I'd rather not anyway, but sitting around a camp fire is sure relaxing, having a few beers. I'll have to take the 80qt Igloo cooler.
From the looks of the trek, there'll be places to get fresh ice and whatnot, along the way.

There was a propane firepit that was used last year. It was amazing for this exact reason.

Most important part of recovery gear is your vehicle recovery points. Tow hitch for the rear, factory front hook are sufficient for most situations if utilized properly.

I would like to see your little propane pit.

I probably have the works to build something like that. And that's a good idea to pack along

I'm so freaking irritated right now.
I ordered some seals for my CV axle so I can put this thing back together from the dealer, They told me the parts would be here today, and they're not here. I'm a little torked about it.

so I'm out in my shop pampering my truck detailing the outside out cleaning up the fender flares wiping down the whole body polishing cleaning and it needed it.

I need to find a winch bumper for the front but I don't want something real big
