    Looking at these two options:

    NEW 2010 access cab - V6, auto, 4x4, SR5 value pkg, tow pkg, $25,400 + tax etc.

NEW 2011 Double cab - V6, auto, 4x4, TRD off road pkg, tow pkg, with the upgraded radio, but not blue tooth $29802 + tax etc.

Good deals....????? yes, or not so much?????

It depends on what finance rate you are getting. I just bought a new truck at 2.9% if I had gone used probably would have been around 12% stretch that over 5 years and there is your answer. Right now is Toyotathon you can even get 0.0% with good credit.
    Doesn't anyone drive manuals anymore!!!
If I was going to get a 4 door auto I'd get a Tundra. Taco's are sweet because of a short wheelbase, you loose that with the dbl. In my opinion.

Nope, you cant get 0.0% from Toyota. Best you can do is 2.9 for 60 months on a 2011 or 3.9 for new 2010's during the Toyotathon. The new 2010's have a $1000 cash back. At least that is what the deals are here in the N.E.

I just bought a 2011 double cab for $250 over cost and you still get the $500 rebate and they had to go to another dealer to get it. This should put the crew cab at 28750 p. (with rebate) I didnt get "special financing at 2.9%" Got normal toyota financing at 3.5% . If I bought one on the lot another dealer said they would give on to me at $60 over cost. (I didnt like the one on the lot)

Ask them for a price over invoice... Easier to deal when they are throwing stuff at you.... IF they dont want to deal... walk out, call another dealer and let them know what they did for you.... WAlking out always lowers the price.

Toyotathon is 2.9% or $500 rebate for a 2011 in most places. But some have 1.9% in Kansas city and Chicago

Front skid plate. Hood protector, and wade in-channel guards. K&N CAI. Weathertech floormats, and door scuff guards. Tri-fold soft tonneau cover.
Get the dbl cab..... it pays off...........I will never own anything other than that...................

that is what seems to be the consensus, but I have no kids, only a small dog.
Dont haul people around etc. Access cab may work fine and I'm liking the longer bed....tuff to decide, but mainly want to know if each price is good?

If you have the $$$ --- IMO, go for the TRD DC and you will not be sorry later.

rate was 2.9 not 2.6, you guys were right. Personally I love the access cab, there is plenty of room in the back with the gen 2 if you're not hauling around grown men. I am 6'4 and if I could fit in the regular cab I would have gotten that. Short wheel base is everything, the dbl to me is just too big for a "little truck" why not go with a Tundra if you're already spending 35 after financing and getting and automatic. It doesn't make sense. I can't believe how many people drive auto tacos! Did your parents not teach you to use your left foot?

Get a double cab long bed, I know MANY people say they are keeping this truck forever but you should also consider resale. Three big items in resale, not necessarily in any particular order:
    1. Double Cab
    2. 4 wheel drive
    3. 6 cylinder
    Just my .02

I think the 0% for 60 months is on the Tundra not the Taco.
