For some reason when I click on a thread the screen is in black and white, but the home screen has color... anyone else experiencing this?

Removed and sprayed my entire rear bumper with truck bed-liner. I also removed and painted the bed rail caps but forgot to take a photo of them.

I generally don’t like glossy paint, but I think this turned out pretty well.

Looks great! Thinking about doing the same to my chrome stock bumper. Any difficulty popping off the cover and putting them back on?

It’s not just the bumper caps that have to be removed, it’s the top of the bumper as well. It wasn’t extremely difficult so long as you take your time, lots of little clips that’s you don’t want to break. You also have to remove the license plate light holders and the trailer connector (if your truck is equipped).

Honestly if I were to do it again I would likely just mask off the truck and not remove it.

I'm excited for this video. I want the MMP; but just haven't quite figured out how I would use it.

It helps keep stuff that you put under the seat stay under the seat, if you need an excuse to get one.

I will have amps and radio bodies under the seat, which will be bolted down so no need for that specific use. I mean, not having a use hasn't stopped me from buying a mod; but it does keep it lower on the list. lol

You CAN do it without completely removing the top of the bumper (I did). There are 4 clips attached to the top piece that can be popped out from the bottom (helps for someone to apply upward pressure to keep them from popping back in while you pop them out from below). You can wiggle the caps out that way. There is one clip that is pretty much impossible to remove without tugging.

It’s a plastic piece with a metal clip with metal teeth that bite into the plastic. Mine broke on one side and there is no way I could have gotten the metal clip back on anyway. No room at all for fingers (unless @BOSS-DS2 knows some method I am unaware of). Without these 2 clips being replaced I have no wiggle.

I sanded the shit out of the fake chrome and did primer, matte black then flat black enamel. Turned out great.
