Good news everyone, I had an opportunity to speak with TheTacoGarage for a Group Buy for their newly designed Aluminum Front Camera mount thats coming out very soon.

If you haven't installed your camera yet and you're interested, stay tuned. I should have more info this week. Might be worth delaying your install.

I'll start a new thread once the details are finalized.

 

My front camera stopped working about a week. The 2 switches light up but screen black. I taped all the RCA connections when I installed it. Any ideas?

If anyone has installed it, can they post a picture of the switch color? Is it the Toyota light blue, or regular blue? It'd be nice if it matched the Toyota interior switch/button color but I think aironboard is the only place that makes those.

 

Is there any estimate of timeframe on this? I'd be willing to wait a week or two, but wouldn't want to wait 2 months.

 

Can this mount be used on the SR5 grille?

These should be ready within 2 weeks from what I was told. I'm still waiting for further details.

Not sure. Currently, it's for the 2020-2021 TRD Sport and TRD Offroad only < >. I would assume they would design it for the previous years as well.

 

The one thing I'm worried about with this mount is if it will work with the standard camera. I didn't opt for the enhanced camera, so mine may not be able to flip mounting angles.

 

Is the standard camera designed physically similar to the premium? Just curious, I haven't seen it yet.

 

I don’t think the standard camera can use that mount. It has to be mounted vertically (threads pointed up)
The premium camera can be mounted vertically and horizontally.

 

Installed my camera yesterday. Now my radio just skips over my SiriusXm satellite presets. I can see them but the tuner just bypasses them now. Anybody else have this issue?

 

I can see the presets but the entire xm option has disappeared from the audio menu. Help!
