It puts the valve body in the same positions and allows the fluid to move just as neutral does only difference is the park pawl. With a manual tcase you should be able to switch between H and L even in park.

When my truck is in park I can’t shift into 4hi as easy and can’t shift into 4lo at all

That's just how your tcase forks and gears are aligned is all. When you shift out of park the pawl moves and if you were on an incline at all the output shaft moves slightly and aligns everything so it'll shift.

Man, just went through this whole thread. Love the build. The bug eyes of the 2gens are difficult for me to like, but you've made me a believer!

It all depends if everything is ligned up for it to shift. Unlike my ecu controlled craptastic shifted on you have no electronics to block the shifting just mechanicals being aligned.

I've got a dual case set up just need to get some time and collect a few minor parts I'll need for getting it installed.

Special special not made anymore. The right way to do one. This is the TG Verso case based off the old inchworm version when he got bought out by them. It's all gear driven no more BS chains. the 2. what ever is the front and the 4.7 is the rear. So it's set up like one should be with the lower gear ratio in the main case. This is all based off the old yota gear cases just with a LH drop. I scored it along with a ton of other things in an epic parts haul for pennies on the dollar it was never installed or used like everything else I scored.
