Neighbor dropped off his toro recycler push mower.... yup no start.... sprayed carb with carb clean.. fired.... removed carb and fuel tank as an assembly... bowl was clean.... hummmm removed main jet and needle valve... o-rings swelled causing lack of fuel to fill bowl. Got rebuild kit and new float. 25.00 love my local ace. Tecumseh motor.
Inspect fuel tank... looked like saw dust on the bottom of it... cleaned and reinstalled carb and tank. 1 pull. Warmed it up and gave it a oil change and a fresh spark plug... let’s see what he wants to pay...

I'm just amazed that it can blow snow 1/2 mile. I do question blowing all that snow into the cabin though.

I inherited this DR Field Mower from my father-in-law. I'm guessing it's 15 years old at this point. Had it out twice so far this year and it tackles brush really well. I think the drive belt (I'm assuming it's a belt since I haven't pulled it apart) is wearing - seems to move slowly like it's slipping until it warms up.

I cruise FB marketplace for these. They must be good because they are priced like it. Owners love them.

A little of this and a little of that.

    Nice!

I have a DR Field Mower just like yours and it works great. I call it my “Bush Hog with Handlebars”.

Almost a shame you gotta run a spark arrestor when the thing is Screamin' Shotgun Pipes. :bikewheelie2:
