This is motivating AF. I'm editing as I type here. Trying to shave off some time at this point, it's a long video.

You can do it that way, and videos online cover the manner in which you did it as well. As opposed to risking breaking clips off, I just went ahead and disassembled the entire thing. With painting and everything it took me four hours at most.

I replaced both caps and never took anything off. You can just pop the clips off and tug the covers off. Disassembly and reassembly was maybe 30 minutes

Didn’t take me much longer to do it the “right way”, in my experience sometimes removing a few more parts makes the whole job a lot more bearable, don’t have to attempt to reinstall clips with little to no finger room.

So with removing the top you can access the metal clips? I would have done it that way if I knew that

I’m assuming you’re referring to the razor blade looking things, and yes when removing the entire bumper end you can access all plastic clips and those metal ones as well.

Might want to add an aftermarket power steering cooler from Derale or Hayden with those 35's in the summer heat. You can even use a frame rail transmission cooler or get one with a fan if you need something larger.

I’ve never heard of this being mentioned for 35s. My list of parts for my 35” tire journey continues to grow :frusty:

I'm sure drivers with 285's or 33's could benefit from one as well. Heck, the factory trans cooler is pretty tiny too. They don't cost much $30-$40 for a basic one or about $150 for one with a fan.

    Cheap:
