I really like the wheel combo. Cab chops? Is that frame cutting? By 33s, you mean 305? right?

I have the same truck in black and I have a 3 inch lift now with 285 gladiator x comps but I wanna put 33 inch x comps with a 20x12 I’m just worried they will not fit with a 3 inch lift.

I had 20x10” wheels on my 2015 Tacoma with a 3” lift. I did have to trim the fender flares and the cab mounts due to rubbing. Also, it will throw your speedometer off about 5mph, you’ll be going way faster than it says, and your tow power will greatly reduced. These things can be corrected by changing the gear ratio in the rear end and reprogramming the cpu speedometer. I wouldn’t recommend 20”s
On 33” , I really wish I had went with 18X9 wheels and maybe 30” tires. I sold my 2015 Tacoma after I did all this stuff to it , just wasn’t happy with it when I got thru. Bought a 2019 TRD Pro Tacoma , ran it stock, then about six months ago, traded for a 2018 Tundra with 3” lift , it has 20x10 wheels on a Nitto ridge grappler 285/65/20 the tire is a 35”

xspxtacoguy I love the fender flares on the 2nd gen. Gives it a nice aggressive look. You mentioned that you wished you had went with a 30" tire. What was the problem you had with the 33's? Were there handling issues?
