Tuned a guy, backed out of his driveway, looked once, didnt look hard. went corner to corner with an old 4runner. He had armor tho.
Of course my back up sensors pinged essentially at the point of impact too. oof.

 

That sucks. What's the replacement plans? Aftermarket or stock?

 

Well lead times for all the cool bumpers are like 3-7months right now... but i may just out new tail lights in, and snap off that piece of bumper or lock it down and ride janky in the meantime.

Yall have any bumpers suggestions?
Think itd be cool to go tire swing out whether now or something i can add later (like victory 4x4)

 

I've seen a set of end ups (chrome) on offer up for like $25. You could get those and plasti dip them black in the mean time. Not sure if it's the just cap or more of the bumper you damaged though.

From how the pictures look he's probably gonna need that plastic layering under the bumper cap too

 

Yeah, i broke the assembly underneath in half, so i would need the metal and step part + a new cap. The cap is also a sensor one (annoying)

 

Sounds like the sensor wasn't working anyway....

 

between the sensors and back up cam, there was failure here. I suppose there is a reason those features dont give insurance breaks...
