Just removing a few areas that were showing their age. Started with the hood and tailgate and I just did the roof today since it looks better having the full black down the center of the truck.

Hood pins installed on the Tacoma. Never thought I'd say that. Big thanks to @EatSleepTacos for recommending the strike placement near the headlight. Made cutting the relative flat surface under the hood way easier.

 

If ya didn't want to drill thru your hood, you should've brought it to me. I could have gotten your hood to align up with all gaps perfect. If it's never been wrecked it HAS to line up...you just need a bodyman to show you the trade secrets

 

Well I still might bring it by to have you look at it if you don't mind. I do enjoy the hood pins though.

 

Of course you know better as a body man, but these rad supports are weak as hell which is where I think all the misalignment comes from. Mine is the same way. Never been wrecked, shitty hood gaps, and my rad support is cracked/tearing in quite a few places.

 

So I guess the question is...when is the Mod Day/Auto body secrets workshop happening??!!?? Sounds like it's totally worth a drive up!
