does it only happen when you push the gas or around those speeds? If yes most likely the driveshaft and not the bearing. If it was bearing it would do it regardless of speed.

I’ll try this today. Im having a similar issue with my new shaft. Test drove is to work today, issue is between 10-20mph during acceleration I get this shudder/vibration I didn’t have before, at all other speeds it is smooth. U joints are new, I’m using an upgraded IEDLS carrier bearing. I was thinking about rotating the driveshaft in different positions until it goes away since idk which way it went on the truck it came from. Not sure if that would even work

    .
    I’ll try that today

I want to say higher rpm is more intense, but no change if I throw it in neutral when coasting. Side note it also seems like I have shit suspension at that speed. Like bumps are generally much more noticeable. Don’t know if that’s related. I feel like a lot of shit is compounding and making it worse. It’s worse with my tire on the carrier vs in the bed...

hard to say when i cant be there lol. But your just gonna have to isolate and test each part until you can narrow it down. I wouldn't spend any money until your sure lol.

Edit: I almost spent like $400 on a new steering rack and a bunch of dumb labor for something that ended up being my skid plates rubbing lol.

Good point, I’ve done that too haha. I’m going to start with taking my rear shim out and putting a carrier drop back in. Maybe my ride height has changed enough since adding the rear bumper and regearing just made it more intense.

Could very well be the rear bearings though. I thought I heard a scraping from the driver side when I rotated them with the tire off. Could have been a rock or dirt in the drum cover or something though...sounded like a wire brush sounds if that makes sense...

Bought a used one. It is probably the extension bracket I made. Gonna try tightening it up before I do anything else. It’s not bad tho, I can live with it as long as it doesn’t cause damage

I also wonder if my homemade crossbar is causing this too. Maybe I knocked the rear out of alignment? I hate tracking down obscure issues haha

def the way you attached the shaft. I would just take it to a driveline shop and get them to cut it. They will rebalance as well, and it will be balanced better than factory. It will also be alot stronger than how you currently have it setup.

I rode with a tech earlier, he’s thinking bearings. Makes sense, neutral doesn’t change it, more weight makes it worse...has anyone pressed on new ones? Their shops press wasn’t big enough.

edit: not doing this one myself. Need to find a good shop to do it

When you went to Kurts, did they have flanges in stock? There’s a slip yoke on my old driveshaft

You can tell if it is a bearing by jacking each tire up and check for play

Oh gotcha. Your trans is prob different. The a750e has a slip yoke that goes inside transmission, not a flange. I guess I’ll have to order one
