you might reconsider who you focus your aggression on.

Also might want to re-read my post. I am not offering any defense for RST in any way. I was fooled like everyone else and I have very close friends that were scammed out of a lot of money.

The only people that are going to get more angry are the perpetually unhappy/never satisfied. I have clients that have been waiting on parts since March 2020 (all of our parts come out of the UK, so combine the covid shenanigans with the brexit shenanigans and it gets deep pretty quick). And ive had some clients who have pulled their orders and either sold the vehicle or looked for another option, but 99% do so respectfully and understand there are factors beyond my control. Proof of delay and communication are key. Canned answers and avoidance are a good way to anger the village.

Was wondering when someone else was going to bring this up. From my understanding Marlin is a far cry from the gem they used to be. Their days of innovation with Toyota off-roading are long gone.

Not trying to completely change the subject, but NorthWest Fab is currently designing exactly this.

I was gonna mention this exactly. It says it doesn’t require adapters either. Basically their black box but for Toyota’s.

wow! I had RST put a Tacobox in my 1st gen in 2019. Being as I am in the SF region, this was a big commitment, which I did on recommendation from Marlin Crawler (the local vendors in the area didn't do as many Crawler Box installs, according to MC). It took almost 9 months, I got it back just before this thread started, which judging by the comments, was just in time. many "reasons" for why it took so long, but I see many posters saying they were still hearing the same reasons a year and a half later. I'm now feeling pretty relieved that I did get my truck back, and that it was completed! So much for any plans of returning.

I agree. I say let's leave everyone out, including other business even though they may be associated with rst someway somehow. RST is the individual who took your money, not the other business.

They choose to associate with him....they weren’t forced. Fuck this guy and anyone that defends him, zero sympathy here if you get dragged through the mud via association.

Whether the vendors knew about anything is beyond me but 100% leave kids out of it. They’re innocent and will likely have this affect them regardless. I’d even shy from the vendors as if you read every post the guy was clearly shady and a habitual liar. I say full responsibility lies with him and anyone else who carried on business as usual with him IF they knew what was going on.

As much as I fanboy over sc4x4 and love you guys this sounds like a whole ass advertisement "this guy sucks but my sponsors don't" but. Robert otwell is an amazing guy and I can back up everything you state about him. Along with marlin, I don't run rclt but I do run alot of their stuff and they have been extremely helpful, edit after reading this. I realized I've literally only ordered one part from marlin and it took 2 months .

We get it and all but your rig and team as much as I’m a fan personally you are an advertising platform and coming on here to say Wyatt is bad but your sponsors are cool and throwing shoutouts is pretty obvious. Sorry to point it out.
