Those are just stored faults from me goofing up the sequence. The 4wd system is happy.

The tune and TSB success is great to hear. Enjoy that part.

I like @mZiggy 's idea. If that doesn't work, you can do a zero point calibration with TechStream.

Yeah a zero point calibration was also suggested in one of the threads.

    I think that's what I need.
    ZPC.
I found the supposed procedure to do it with the shorted pins and also with techstream.
Ill give it a try at lunchtime and post results.

The pin jumper method was removed at some point. Either for all 2019s or late production 2019s and on.

Indeed that is what it needed - ZPC.
No warning lights and a new TSB that I can actually feel the difference with.
Now I just need Matt to catch up to me so I can DL my pack.

I found this attached thing somewhere - its certainly not a step by step but it got me in the right area to figure it out.

It is from the Service Manual (241mb):
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cx5nnlnCzlhI45D1vbBMj1ni983SKdKf/view?usp=sharing

That's great to hear that it did the trick.

    Enjoy the tune!

For who ever is building the friendly/nonfriendly dealership map you can put redding California toyota as nonfriendly. I called because I really do get a stumble and the truck dies at higher elevation (5500 to 7000) at WOT. I asked them if they would consider updating the ECU and was told first that there is no such TSB. When I offered to give them the TSB number I was told that if I drove it down and paid $280 for a diagnostic test. They might look up the TSB if they can reproduce the problem. Well Reddings elevation is 500 ft above sea level so my guess is it won't do it. Blah

Can't find the thread but can someone link me to it. I purchased additional credits on OV website, how do I request them on the VF tuner program now?

In vF, go to Help / Licence Information . . .

In that window, you can request the Credits that you purchased.

One more question, when I licensed my VIN it dropped me down to 1 credit. From what I read, I should have more than that so I can unlock my ECU correct?

Yes. You should have nine Credits to start. One will always remain. Reply to your Order Confirmation message to get the other four Credits.

You do not need to Unlock the ECU to flash though. Just for viewing and editing tunes.

Open the flash utility. Select the file. Flash it.

It will not. But, if you right click and pick Open With and Choose another app, you can change the file association:

    Is there a preferred method?

I have opened them in NotePad in the past just to look. The whole file is encrypted data. No header info.

TSB CUWs have useful header info that can be viewed with NotePad or WordPad.

    Gotcha, thank you!

I'm still waiting on someone from MHH to get me a passcode for my TS system ID. Then I'll be able to flash the TSB & eventually the vF.

    You're welcome!

Yeah. The MHH thing is weird, but freaking handy. Just keep giving them reps and thanks. LoL!
