I thought this was interesting, Tacoma sales (US) so far have been greater than Accord or Civic, which used to be near the top nationally. Not sure if it’s supply or demand. GM twins nowhere on the list. Of course, Camry, Corolla, RAV4 and Highlander (of the Toyota’s) all beat Tacoma; Camry and Corolla being the only sedans of any make to outsell the Taco.

I’m actually surprised to see the Forester out selling the outback.

ranger and gm twins are around 30k mark. even with limited build numbers at times the tacoma sells twice as many mid size trucks. il be curious to see the new frontier sales. it is a very nice truck despite what some brand loyal people will say

Ford sells a lot of fleet vehicles that’s why they are always high. Chevy does also but not as much compared to Ford. Ram now does also. I rented a cargo van today with a power lift gate from enterprise and they had a ton of rams.

f150 is the best selling vehicle in the world and has been so for quite a while. although if you add silverado and sierra sales together then gm had best sales some years

It's also worth noting - that's the F-series, so that includes pooper duties as well.

my guess - a lot of people who would have bought last year waited it out, and are buying now instead.

It looks like March '21 was an abnormally high sales month for the Tacoma too.

I think the Outback is made in the US and Forester in Japan. Maybe they got back up to speed there quicker??

Nissan frontiers will sell good at first. New truck very stylish but eventually sales will drop. Same thing happen with the titan after the new redesign.

I think not in the world. I believe the Corolla is #1 and RAV4 #2 worldwide. And Ford lumps all F Series together, including SuperDuty, so even those North American figures are a bit misleading.

i should have said best selling per year. actually the f150 is very close to taking that all time sales position from the corolla.

Not to argue, but are you sure the F150 sells more, in its markets which are primarily US, Canada, Mexico and some other parts of Latin America, and some of the Middle East, than the Corolla sells in its markets which include all the above plus lots of Asia, Africa, and Europe?

kinda biased too because the "ford f-series" makes up all ford f models such as the F150, F250, F350, F450, F550, F650, F750 (if it still exists)

I see more F150s where I live than Corollas or Camrys.

Same, seems like there is an F150 in every other driveway around here.

Doesn't really mean anything. Could be a regional phenomenon, could be frequency illusion.

I'm surprised that so many trucks are higher on that list to be honest. I'm guessing that's first quarter related where people tend to want 4x4s compared to the rest of the year, and crossovers and sedans will start to fill out the list a bit more as we move into summer.

Sedans have been on a steady decline for years, Manufacturers are cancelling cars and sticking with SUV's, CUV's, and Trucks.

It’s not an “frequency illusion” where the sales data confirms it, year after year after year. F150 is the sales king.

you gotta get off the cabbage and clear your head.
