I needed a front receiver as well, so I went the Draw-Tite front receiver route. It is rated for 9000 ponds.

Definitely a Cusco knock off. It’s not even the right color.

Looks totally functional. I just couldn’t believe they slapped a “Cusco” sticker on there when clearly they should have gone with “TRD” or “Tanabe”.

Am I missing something about the need for aftermarket battery brackets? I saw some on here for 85 dollars. Do batteries fly out and go through the hood or is it simply cosmetic?

Maybe someone on here works at a shop and could test the "non-rated" demon brackets for point of failure?

I only bought it because it was cheap and adds "bling" under the hood...apparently it's got the wrong color

I mean 12 doll hairs, fuck it. But 85 for a (well made) one with TRD on it, I just don’t see the point.

I don’t think it’s just the bracket strength. It’s also how/where it’s mounted. I’m a total noob and could be wrong.
