I'm about 3 hours or so from there. Very limited time with the new job, but if something needs done feel free to shoot a DM. I'll do what I can.

OK, This seriously pisses me off. This tarnishes the entire TW express process that I know and love. I have been apart of well over 300+ TW express transactions over the past 4 years. Being one of the central hubs for the Northeast, I have held and transported thousands upon Thousands of dollars in other peoples belongings without even one thought of ......"Hey maybe I should keep this." PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep us in the loop. I have started to hand out "TW EXPRESS" stickers to some of our seasoned TW Express members who I would trust with any transaction as I have over the years. @Nimble9 made the original Northeast TW express thread and turned into something that was pure and righteous to this day. Even, in the unlikely event, that as I was making a TW express transaction and someone broke into my vehicle, I would do whatever I could to make it right, even paying back the money out of my own pocket, because I took the responsibility of that members belongings. Please let us know all the details when you are able to make them available and also post in the Northeast TW express thread as well.

Agreed. I've done a couple now and its such a joy to me to be able to help out in whatever way I can, seeing someone take advantage of so much good will is unacceptable. I know you want to try and sort this but you should definitely say who the culprit is here so we know who not to trust with parts or money

I agree we all need to know, but I think it’s only fair he gives the “offending” person a chance to make it right. Maybe everything is legit and he is waiting for a police report. Now the reason I would blast the person now, is due to stopping contact.

I do agree with the aspect of him waiting to see how things will play out. I think one of the biggest aspects of the way that I do my TW express runs, is that whenever I do one, I always post and identify the person that I am going to be grabbing it from, post the person's name of who it belongs to, and post the person's name of who I'm giving it off to so there is a overall written record with complete transparency. I kind of use it like UPS tracking for the person who's eventually going to be getting the object that they purchased. It may seem daunting, but technically anyone who does a TW Express run for someone should technically do this out of courtesy for the person who is buying the object. It also gives newer TW members confidence in the TW express.

Gazillion times agree. I have even started a thread to keep track of it.
It just sucks such a good thing may have a negative

so many people are shocked at how great folks are with TW express.

Just an FYI, they're not OEM. I called the guy about 2 weeks ago and they are moog. Not sure if that changes anything for you.

Depending on where in Southern VT he is I could probably receive it from you and continue it on if something else hasn’t already been worked out. I live next to Brattleboro and work in Brattleboro so if you’re up there and see a black 2nd gen AC with a tire carrier and home built chase rack give me a honk!
