Sucks you've been so busy at work, at least it offers an excuse as to why you can't work on projects! Do they pay OT for you?

 

No OT, had a meeting today where our VP said we'd get some extra vacation time though.

 

Oof .. some compensation is better than no compensation, but that's lame

 

That's the one thing I missed about being hourly, putting in OT for some extra $$ each week. But salary is better for me nowadays for when I need to come in late or leave early to take care of family stuff, doesn't affect my pay.

 

in general, yep. we just launched an entire rewrite of our app so we've been grinding for the last month to get it out the door on time. Now that it's out there's a bunch of new issues to fix
